Zebra stripes ,a bunny, clocks and flip flops?

Well the blessings have already started for me and I haven't even officially begun my 29 days of giving! Tom has received a VERY nice raise! Totally needed that! I however have received the MOST beautiful gift from the wonderful and talented Patricia at PVE DESIGN. I love love love it! I will devote an entire post to this kind hearted lady on Monday and let you see my goodies! She has also joined the 29 Day Giving Challenge so send some love and giving her way!
As for the post title, you can see I've been a little obsessed with these things. The plaques are not finished. I would love your opinion. Do you think they should all have words on them? Would you be more apt to buy if they were personalized with your name or monogram? Of course I would love any suggestions, this is strictly a voluntary marketing survey. But I would so love to hear not only your thoughts on this set but also about items you own that you love. What draws your eye?
Don't forget to take the 29 Day Challenge... you will be blessed thru your giving!

Craft Inc.

Craft Inc., originally uploaded by lovely days.

I am so excited to have finally found Craft Inc. in stock at my local booksellers. I am on the 2nd page of the intro.....kissing it!
Even if you've been in business 7 years, like me, there are always new things to learn. I will be finished with the book by Tuesday and give you some insight into what I've learned. If you run across it this weekend...buy it!

Painted Gift Idea

If you're in need of a quick craft project this long Memorial Day Weekend, try embellishing these cute jars. I got mine at Ikea, 4 for $2.99. I added dots (of coarse) with a bakeable glass paint, cute paper flowers and rhinestones. These are going to be a gift for one of Rachel's teachers. I think I'll fill them with office supplies, candy, gift card, and stickers.

Magic Bullet Giveaway

The wonderful twins at 5 Minutes for Mom are giving away several Magic Bullets. The perfect blender to make all your Deceptively Delicious recipes with! Check out the giveaway here.
Good Luck and let me know if you win!
I got my wonderful prize in the mail a couple days ago and will post about it soon. It's been hard not to let Ellie have it early!

Mass Production

I've been in Mass Production mode this week. Trying my best to build up a little stock for wholesale buyers. It's also time to finalize new designs for Christmas Ornaments and send out samples and catalogs. I'm thinking I'll do postcards this year with really good graphics on the front and ordering info on the back.
I'm still working on some originals that will be made into prints, a few craft projects to post here, decluttering studio, and getting myself organized!
Oh yeah... I have 2 birthday parties to plan for the girls. Ellie wants a Spongebob party and Rachel wants another Luau. Her last luau had over 30 kids here! She's my little social butterfly! I'll be posting ideas for these parties, hopefully soon. Better get to work! Have a wonderful day!

About My Mother...

1. She grits her teeth when hugging us (shown above).
2. She grew up WITH me, married at 15 and had me at 16!
3. She is ALWAYS put together, nails done, heels, jewelry, she does it all!
4. Divorced at 19, lost custody for no reason to my dad's parents, kidnapped us at 25, 1 year of "running", caught and got full custody. There weren't milk cartons back then or we would have been on one!
5. If anyone needs help or a hand... she is the first one in line.
6. Has a strong work ethic.
7. Number one rule when I was growing up...you'll get in A LOT more trouble if you lie to her, just don't do it!
8. Taught me to love reading.
9. Brags, Brags, Brags about her kids and grandkids.
10. Taught me to stand my ground and take up for myself, even against her.
11. She, like me, will laugh hysterically at extremely sad moments. I feel sorry for the people in the theatre when we saw the movie The Champ!
12. She is actually driving over to my house today in her jammies. It's a day of eating, watching movies, and napping!
13. Shopaholic!
14. Knows that since I gave her 3 grandchildren, she will live with my sis or a HOME when she's old! LOL!
15. Knows that We love her with all our hearts...

Tagged!

It has happened...I have been tagged by Maddie at Madras Matters to list 6 quirky things about myself. This won't be difficult, there are MANY quirky/weird things about me. I'll try to keep it at 6!
Please Don't Judge!
Here we go...
1. My favorite sandwich...turkey, cheese, mustard, mayo, pickles, and potato chips, all smooshed together!
2. I can be found out and about sporting paint splattered clothes, I FORGET to change my clothes...sometimes.
3. I love the smell of my Yorkie/Poo's ears. I have to smell them daily... they really do smell like chocolate chip cookies!
4. I laugh uncontrollably in sad situations. The fine line between laughter and tears?
5. There are 2 steak knives in my kitchen that DO NOT belong in the wood block with all the other knives... no one ever puts them in the drawer where they belong, they swear they can't tell the difference... I think they're all lying.
6. I say " Good Morning" to my little one's bottom and toes. I ask the toes not to fight before I put shoes on them.

How QUiRKY am I????
Now let's see how quirky these bloggers are...
1. Kari
2. Kijsa
3.. Peggy at Peggy's Gifts, Maybe this will force her to POST a second entry!
4. Proud Grits
5. Katy at The Country Blossom
6.Melissa at Fischtales
